Waking up and knowing I can't go to work depresses me for a bit, but then I remember the note and by God, I'm relieved I won't have to deal with that again.

I wish I had a proper chance to excuse myself from work—hand in my resignation, even—but oh well. I can't risk my life going back there.

Roman left early, so I've got the place all to myself. Without him here, the flat kind of feels...empty. This makes me realize that I miss him ...
