I drove through the gates of the safe house and parked behind Santo.

Elena and I were just walking into the house when Santo skidded to a stop at the head of the staircase.

His eyes were wide with panic.

“I just went in to check on Dominic, to prep him for our talk. But… he’s not there.”

My spine went rigid. “Davina?”
