I look back and forth between Romain and Trudy, and then I advance, anger getting the best of me.

"What are you telling him, Trudy?" I demand angrily. "What is she telling you?"

Trudy, completely unbothered by my angry outburst, glances at Romain once before walking past me and back inside the house. I watch her go by glancing over my shoulder, then, I fix my eyes on Romain.
