I stared at the wall momentarily, focusing on the footsteps approaching from the direction where I was standing. For a moment, everything halted, and I could no longer hear the steps. Once I was certain, I ran my fingers along the cold stone wall and pressed a small, uneven brick. It clicked, and a low rumble echoed through the hallway. Dust danced in the air as the wall began to shift, the stone grinding against stone.
