Lorenzo's POV

I stopped in my tracks and turned to look at Niko.

The nerves he had to ask me that question, but I couldn't let him see that it annoyed me.

"Are you mad about it?" I said, with my voice tight, holding back my anger. "She's about to be my daughter-in-law."

He looked up at me, a sly smile tugging at his lips as he nodded. "Ah... yes."

I didn't say another word. I just turned and walked back to the main mansion.
