“Where is she?” I muttered when I couldn't see the woman again. A lot has been happening lately... or am I just being too sensitive?

“Who? Are you looking for someone?” Noah asked, and I turned to him.

“Huh? It's nothing. Seems I've been too sensitive lately,” I said, sitting back down.

“Oh, okay. So you're in, right?” he said, his face lighting up.

I could really tell he loved his dad so much. This is what he wants... At least, I should do it for him, right? Just ...
