I woke up and realized I was sort of starfished across the bed. All the sheets were a mess and I was certain my hair was all over the place. My body was sore but a different kind of a sore now–one that was much more desirable.

I smiled and stretched out. I realized that Jaxon was no longer in the bed. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. The light was on in the bathroom.
