The sun was dipping low, streaking the sky with different shades of orange and pink as I made my way through the newly repaired resort area. We weren’t quite done yet, but we were making a lot of progress. The air buzzed with the sounds of construction and eager voices—signs of life and recovery. I couldn't help but let a smile tug at my lips, feeling the real sense of progress.
