One Month Later

I was in the rocking chair in the nursery, feeding Jaden with a bottle of milk, and feeling as happy as I had felt in a long, long time. Immediately after his birth, he had to spend a week in the hospital so the doctors could observe him and make sure that he was progressing positively from the weakened state he had been in at birth.
