I blinked my eye open, to see a very dark view. The darkness that came with the lack of natural light.

I blinked into it, once, twice. Still nothing. Just the sound of my shallow breaths and the soft thud of my heartbeat.

“Jaxon?” My voice cracked, weak and unsure.

No response.
