The loud pealing of the doorbell woke me up, and I jumped out of bed, realizing where I was. In a flash, I was at the main door to let Stella in. 

“She has a fever. Look after her well in my absence. I’m not sure when I’ll be back. There’s money at my bedside table. I’ll transfer more if I’m held up for long. I’ve arranged for tight security around the house. Ensure that Hermione doesn’t escape. Update me regularly.”
