Felixe’s POV 

I sat with my head in my hands in my office in Yellowknife. I couldn’t stay in the empty house in Hay River anymore. Dan and his team had searched for Derrick and Lyra all around and were on their way to report to me. I couldn’t wait to know what he had found out about them. 

After forty-five minutes, Dan arrived with his team. One look at his grim features was enough for me to know he had met with no success.
