I opened my bleary eyes in the wee hours of the morning to look around the room I was in. Last night, they had injected a tranquilizer to make me lose consciousness. By now, I realized how lethal my grandfather was. He still rigidly adhered to his obsolete principles! It made me wonder if my mother was abducted or if she willingly fled Ionia with Alpha Athos!
