Trey had no sooner arrived at the motel with the pizza than he heard a tap at his door and opened it to Casey. He pulled her inside and drew her into his arms, holding her tight against him. The warmth of her body seeped into him and he held her for a long moment, relishing her arms around him. He clung to her as if she anchored him. Which, he had to admit, she did.
