Lola's POV

The Alpha's children eventually gave up trying to push me forward. They wandered off to talk to other wolves in the hall. I stayed near the doorway, trying to make myself invisible.

Morgan excused himself from Beta Tim and walked toward me. His expression was unreadable.

"Come with me," he said quietly.

I followed him out of the main hall. Down a corridor. Into an empty room. He closed the door behind us.
