Amy lunged at me with the dagger. The blade aimed straight at my chest. I threw myself sideways. Hit the ground hard. Pain shot through my shoulder. The dagger missed me by inches.

Amy spun around. Her face was twisted. Angry. Beyond reason. "Stop running!" she screamed. I scrambled to my feet. I looked for an escape. For help. For anything.
