We walked back toward the main hall. But before we got there, Morgan stopped. He turned to face me.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Something I should have done earlier."

He took my hand and led me back into the conference room. Everyone was still there. Aurora. Her siblings. Alpha Connor. Beta Tim. Other wolves from the Riverside Clan.

They all looked up when we entered.

"I need to make an announcement," Morgan said. His voice carried across the room. Confident. Clear.
