Third-person POV

Lola stood in the centre of the large dining hall. The room was cold and empty. The air smelled like wax and old wood. She was in charge of directing Gamma to prepare drinks for the arrival of the mysterious Kael Alpha.

Gamma was a large man with very thick arms. He moved slowly around the room. He was carrying a heavy tray. On the tray were dozens of thin glass cups. They looked like clear ice in the dim light.
