Morgan showed up at my door with a small cloth pouch in his hand.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Open it."

I took the pouch. It was soft. Handmade. On the front, embroidered in neat stitches, were two letters: M and L.

"Did you make this?"

"Yeah. Took me most of the night." He ran a hand through his hair. Looked embarrassed. "I heard you weren't sleeping well. Because of everything with the King. So I made you this."
