Lola's POV

I watched the rogues approach the pack house. My heart was pounding. I didn't have time to think. I just acted.

I transformed into my wolf form. The shift happened fast. My bones cracked and reshaped. Fur covered my skin. Within seconds, I was standing on four legs.

I ran outside. I positioned myself between the rogues and the pack house. I bared my teeth and growled.
