I walked into the restaurant with Morgan still holding my hand. The place was busy. People everywhere. Talking. Eating. Laughing.

"Where's Evelyn?" I asked the waiter who'd called me.

He pointed toward the back. "She said to meet her in the garden area. Through that door."

"Thanks."

Morgan squeezed my hand. "Want me to come with you?"

"No. Stay here. I'll just be a minute."
