Jasper's men fought long and hard.

At some point I figured out their game plan. They were holding on , till the moon was at its apex and our pack couldn't help but shift.

"We have to finish these men as soon as possible!" I yelled to my Beta , who fought valiantly at my side, "If we let them keep us out here any much longer, the moon will reach its apex, and we will be forced to shift!"

"We can't let that happen! We'll be vulnerable" My Beta responded, immediately ...
