"Amelia?" I peered into her eyes while she looked at me like I was some stranger, and right then I truly felt like a shadow of myself.

"Who a-are you?" Amelia asked , confirming the thing I feared to be true.

She really didn't recognize me.

I turned numbly to the healer and whispered brokenly, "What's going on?"
