The Third POV

She wasn’t sure what to make of all this. Two days ago, Dominic had nothing. Now he was pulling open the gate to a place that looked like it belonged in a lifestyle magazine.

Her gaze lingered on the balconies, the clean stone walls, the trimmed bushes. Then her eyes flicked back to Dominic with a look of quiet disbelief.

“This place must cost a fortune,” she said, arms folding as she leaned slightly into his side. “Easily… what, five thousand a month?”
