Third Person POV

Nancy slid an arm around Evelyn’s waist, as she steered her toward the door. Evelyn’s steps were unsteady, her body heavy and unresponsive.

“Hey, where are you taking her?” a colleague called out, noticing Evelyn’s pale face.

Nancy didn’t miss a beat. “She’s had a bit too much,” she said lightly. “I’m just taking her to the restroom so she can sober up.”
