I stayed in the corner, listening to the interaction between Dominic and Evelyn, and I swear I could not believe my ears.

When Evelyn turned to leave in anger, I quickly hid myself so she wouldn't see me. In her state, she wouldn’t handle my eavesdropping lightly.
