Rue’s POV

The airport went from chaotic to suffocating in minutes. I escorted Percy toward the vehicle parking area. We reached my car—only to find a massive shuttle bus had skidded sideways during the chaos and now blocked the only exit route.

The other entrances were jammed with overturned luggage carts and fleeing passengers. There was no way out.

“Get in,” I said anyway, pushing Percy into the back seat.
