Rue’s POV

The morning of the annual pack assembly arrived quicker than I expected. The main hall was already filled although it was very early in the morning. The banners carried Percy’s crest, silver wolves intertwined beneath a raging fiery forest.

It was a symbol of authority and of legacy. One of the largest and most expensive pack gatherings after Blood Claw Pack’s. 

And today… Percy intended to place that legacy partly into my hands.
