Selvara's POV

The shadow version of me moved faster than I expected. Her fist landed on my stomach and I flew backward. My back hit the stone wall hard enough to knock the air from my lungs.

I rolled to the side just as her foot came down where my head had been and the stone cracked under the impact.

She was stronger than me. She was also faster and way more powerful too. I scrambled to my feet and tried to summon my own power.

The shadow only laughed. "Is that all you have? Pathetic."
