Selvara's POV

The shadows wrapped around me and they sank into my skin, and it was very painful during the process. When it finally stopped I collapsed forward as the chains were the only thing keeping me upright.

"There," Mordain said. "Now you are mine. Completely." He unlocked the chains as I fell to the floor. "Rest tonight," he said. "Tomorrow you go to war."
