Shea returned from the kitchen. She poured some of my favourite strawberry juice into a glass cup and beckoned me to sit on the couch while she plonked herself on it too.

"I got some of your medicine back here. Take it, and hopefully you will feel better." She opened her palm and transferred the familiar green pills to mine.
