His voice was calm and his expression changed and he looked at me like he was challenging me as though he wanted to see me flinch.

I straightened my back instead and met his cold, hard gaze. "Yes." I replied firmly.

For a moment, his lips twitched.. not quite a smile but something close to it. "Good girl."

"Is that all? Just three rules?"
