“My love,” Damon whispered into my ear as he pulled me into a fierce embrace.

I wrapped my hands around him, smiling as the tears fell down my eyes. It was good to be free and back into his arms; my home where I belonged.

“Congratulations on getting free and clearing your name.” He smiled again, placing a chaste kiss on my lips.
