Finally, it was time to leave.

Cara kept pulling us all in for strings of embrace, without any prejudice. I had expected only one embrace and had been shocked when she pulled me in for many embraces as much as she pulled the others in for.

I wondered if it was because the festive season made her be in a good mood or because I had almost died but I wasn't about to complain.
