He scowled all through the walk to the bedroom Cara prepared for us. He stood at the entrance and scanned the room, looking for whatever I had no idea of. It wasn't until he stepped inside after a few seconds and moved straight to the couch in the room that I knew what he had been looking for.

I shouldn't have been hurt that he didn't want to share the bed with me but it hurt me.

“The bed is big enough for us to share and we won't have to touch each other.”
