“Who are you, young lady?”

I sighed at the familiar words. It was amusing and a bit shocking that was what the elders had to say to me anytime they found out my real identity, or rather that I was a fake.

“Didn't you call me your daughter minutes earlier?” I asked, calling their bluff rather than admit to the truth.
