I smiled as I awoke first, my smile spreading wider as the sun trickled into the hospital room and landed on Damon’s face, illuminating his facial features and making him the most beautiful sight I had ever set my eyes on.

I watched him, sleeping soundly and curled up with me on the hospital bed. I couldn't believe he was right there with me. Till I fell asleep, I was on the clouds and kept wondering if I was dreaming.
