Nora's POV

The party was a success. For me though as Damon had something else to say. I didn't get called out as being an imposter and that was success enough for me.

If only Damon agreed the party was a success as I did.

"What a waste of my time." Damon groaned for the fifth time that night during our drive home.

"It will be better next time." I said, trying to assure him and hoped that he would stop talking.

He hadn't stopped lamenting and filling my ears with woes. I was tired but ...
