I groaned as Hart kept talking, wanting him to shut up. I hadn't felt that way before and wondered what was wrong with me. I had always loved talking about work but this time, I wanted him to be quiet.

I rubbed at my temples, trying to hold back the pain and fight the groans from escaping my throat.

Hart paused and stared at me. "Are you fine?"

"Yes," I lied.
