“You made the right call.” Dad praised as I settled down.

I didn't think that but I didn't react. As much as I didn't want to be with Nora, I agreed that there was no point making enemies of my parents.

“Shall we eat?” Mum grinned and made a gesture to the maids to dish out the meal.

The food was definitely going to taste like granite in my mouth but I was prepared to shove it in so they wouldn't have anything more to say about what I did.
