"Are you fine?" Damon breathed as he barged into my bedroom, his eyes fixed on me with concern.

I gasped at his sudden presence, smiling as he frowned when I checked my phone instead of replying immediately.

What was he doing being here?

"Are you not meant to be back in the next two days?" I asked, after confirming that I had the right date in my head and didn't make a mistake.
