Mine To Tame

Chapter 7: Mine To Tame

Randy

It's been two weeks since I found out the new omega girl was my mate, and unfortunately, nothing has changed.

Elodie has been acting like we were once together and she's trying to get rid of me by dating another guy which is driving me crazy.

It's not as if we were lovers. But she's my mate. I expected her to wait. To give me time to figure things out. And not to start parading around with someone else. I haven't even rejected her yet, so why is she acting like such a…. Like she's all lost all sense of who she belongs to?

kissing Jack in front of everyone? And I even heard one time she gave him a blow job in the bathroom. Some even say they've been spending the night together. Every time I hear those rumours, my wolf rages.

Today, I have made up my mind to confront Jack to stay away from my mate. And If he doesn't, I'd have no choice but to make him regret it.

Even though I'm angry at the moon goddess for making someone like her as my mate, I think a time might or would come when I will have no choice but to accept her as my mate. Because having your fated mate is more important in the dark moon pack and as an Alpha, I strongly believe every other Alphas should always be with their fated mate because the bond between them would be unbearable and it's hard for their relationship to break apart unlike the other way around.

I believe if I'm to be with someone like Cassie, a situation would come where our relationship would be torn apart. But aside from that, I really hope one day when I finally summoned the courage to reject Elodie, the moon goddess would be kind enough to appoint Cassie as my second chance mate.

As usual, I came out of my car with my two best friends and walked inside the school, heading straight to my class. Most times I go home after school or just stay in the school hostel, that depends on my mood.

Especially when I want to screw other bitches aside Cassie, my girlfriend. I often take them to a different hotel.

The moment I entered the class, I was met with an unpleasant scene that left my wolf stirring in anger.

It's the two newly lovebirds. Jack knelt down beside her, there were flowers in his hands and instantly, my head processed what he was about to do.

Something my wolf can't take. Ignoring the stares, I walked to where they were and pulled Jack away from her. It's time these nonsense stops. I have had enough for it for two straight weeks of torture, but not anymore.

“What are you doing?” Elodie asked softly, her gaze lowered on the ground.

“Trying to teach him what and what not to do.”

I dragged Jack out of the class, ignoring the whispers and stares, especially from Cassie whose gaze lit like that of a person who wants to explode.

“Come on Jack, let go of me.” He tried to remove my hands from his hands but I caught it.

“ Don't tempt me Jack, you fucking know what I'm capable of. Right?” My words rolled in his eyes, followed by a punch in his face. I wanted to remind him how ruthless I was and still am.

It seems I have been too kind for too long. Especially around someone like him who tries to toy with my mate.

“You should definitely teach him a lesson. I can't believe he's still trying to act strong.” Zac snapped in.

“ You should have gotten rid of this low life right from the start.” Seth added and fortunately, they were right.

If it was before, Jack wouldn't live to see another day playing with my mate. But you know, as the future Alpha, I'm trying to abstain myself from Anything that could lead to a bad reputation and images.

Especially within the pack, with the council elders who seem to have more power around my father than I. Funny right?

If my father heard about Elodie being my mate, he would never be in support of it.

Jack's body trembled tremendously as he lowered his gaze down.

“You're lucky I'm in a good mood today. This should be the last time I'll ever see you around her.” With that, I turned to my friend and saw the funny look they were giving me but I ignored it and walked away.

“I thought you don't like the girl. So why do you sound so jealous?”

Zac snapped in,in a teasing tone but I ignored him by not saying anything.

“Don't tell me you like this weak, omega girl?” Seth asked and I was forced to halt my footsteps and look at him.

“Don't ever talk about her in my presence again.”

*******

Elodie

Five minutes have passed since Randy and his friends returned back to the class but since then, I have not seen Jack. I couldn't concentrate on what the professor was teaching us no matter how hard I tried.

My thoughts were all about Jack. What if Randy beat him up badly? Or probably threatened to kill him if he comes any closer to me again?

My plans of making him jealous did actually work, but he's not making any attempts to claim me as his mate. And now, I just put Jack's life in danger. All attempts, plans, prove abortive and fail.

Throughout the whole day, I didn't see Jack or find any trace of him. It was then it dawned on me that I don't really know any of his friends, nor do I know the dorm he is in. I'm actually a bad friend.

I didn't even care to know or ask about him.

My heart skipped at the sudden thought that just pooped into my head. No! I can't do it. Randy was with his girlfriend, Cassie. Meeting him and confronting him about Jack would only cause trouble.

But either way, I need to know the truth concerning him. I need to know what happened to him. In that way, my mind would be at peace.

Cassie was seated in Randy's lap, with his two friends seated by his side. Even before I began to walk towards their direction, he had already sensed my scent which made him raise his head to look at me.

“Ra….. Randy,” I called slowly, swallowing my saliva as I lowered my gaze down, my fingers twisting together while awaiting him to say something before going straight to the point.

“Alpha Randy,” Cassie said. “He's the future Alpha, Omega. He's not at your level so you need to address him with respect.” She snapped. Even though I couldn't see her face, I could tell it was burning with Fury and distaste.

“ Alpha Randy,” I stated, rolling my eyes on the ground as I tried to maintain my breath which has become faster.

“Go on, Elodie. What is it?” His soft voice echoed in my head, making my heart skip. My heart actually felt warm seeing he was calling my name instead of calling me an “omega” just like Cassie.

Slowly, I raised my head a bit and right there I caught his hazel blue eyes staring keenly at me. My breath caught in my throat as our eyes synchronized with each other. And for a second, I got lost, staring at his eyes which looked so much like the ocean, his face, sculpture like gods.

“Omega,” Cassie's voice penetrated my head, bringing me back to reality.

“Elodie,” Randy corrected, making my heart jump. “That's her name Cassie. Mind the way you talk to her. She's not yours, but mine to tame, ruin and kill.”
