It started with a sketchbook.

Daniel hadn’t touched one in years.

Not seriously, anyway.

There had been scattered doodles on sticky notes. The occasional rough design scribbled in margins during long meetings. But the kind of drawing that required time—real time—had been shelved somewhere between responsibility and routine.
