I pretended I wasn't okay yet, just so I could see Randy but he never came.

Every time the sickbay door opened, my heart would jump. I would always raise my head fast, hoping it was him. Hoping to see his face and hear his voice. Hoping he came to check on me or at least say something… anything but it was never him.
