CHAPTER FORTY SIX

Lily sat impatiently at the dining table, waiting for Asher to leave for work. Her eyes went to the wall on the clock and her forehead creased as her brows knitted together, it was quarter past 8, on any normal day he should have left  30 minutes ago, yet there was no sign of him. 

"Have you called Mr Allard for breakfast today?" She asked the help who was vacuuming the house, and he turned to Lily with a frown.

"Uhh," Lily arched her brow, growing more impatient, "we don't usually call him ...
