“Yeah.

I’m better,” the words left my lips sounding softer than I would have liked it.

He said nothing, standing there as his gaze burned through my back.

And I felt immensely awkward.

“We are in a hospital.

Just go and get yourself tested.

It’s not normal to throw up in the morning.”

The words finally left his lips, one which I knew he had been holding back all this while.

His overprotectiveness finally reared its head.

At least he was not forcing me now, I thought feeling ...
