The morning after

When my alarm blared, it felt like my skull split in half. I groaned, dragging the pillow over my head. Every muscle in my body ached in the best possible way, but my brain…my brain was a war zone.

Last night replayed in flashes. Roman’s mouth. Roman’s hands. Roman’s voice telling me I belonged to him. The way my body had unraveled over and over until I didn’t even remember my own name.
