The surrender

The air in the room was thick and charged, as if the very walls held their breath with me. His hand slid up, deliberate and teasing, the pads of his fingers brushing the bare skin of my thigh. Every inch he climbed left a trail of fire, and I arched into him, my body begging for more before I could form the words.
