The program is thicker than it needs to be.

Glossy. Heavy. Expensive in that way meant to impress donors who like to feel the weight of importance in their hands. I flip through it in my office long after Paul has left for the evening, long after the city outside my windows has shifted into its quieter, more dangerous hours.
