“Yes, I am her friend." I said, nodding. "Is she okay?"

He straightened, making notes on a chart. "It looks like she fainted due to acute stress, and her blood pressure is elevated, likely from whatever emotional trigger caused this. Has she been under a lot of pressure lately?"

I swallowed, thinking of Damien, the Pack, and now her father's death. "Yeah, work stress.” I replied.
